Charming family film makes you think; expect some shooting.

This is such a creative and precious movie. A Coke bottle finds its way to a primitive culture. It is so unique to them, it takes on a literally supernatural being. I becomes the center of things until one of the members decides to return it to the gods who put it there. So he goes on a journey to a magic place, the modern world. What happens is the kind of haphazard interactions that had to be. This is a joyful, exciting film. When Siskel and Ebert introduced this to me on their old TV show, I couldn't wait to see it. I have never been disappointed. There is a lesson here for all of us about how our metaphysical being is so fragile and not to be taken so serious.
